A Contact Lens Prescription Question?

My contact prescription is -4.25 and I do not have the money for an eye exam and my eye is just a tiny bit worse and I want to order them from 1800 contacts and was wondering if they would be a -4.5 or a -4.0

Thank you

i work for an eye doctor and i deny patients attempts at filling 1-800-contacts orders all day long when the RXs are expired. you’ll have to get an exam.

Contact lenses are a prescription just like medication and the Rx expires after one year. No one fill an expired prescription.

They will call your doctor to verify, so, you can’t just pick a number that sounds good.

And what will you do when they call your Dr. to verify your prescription ?

If your prescription isn’t good anymore , you can’t order from any reputable site , because your Dr. will just deny the request when they fax or call him.
