Accidentally Drop Contact Lens in Tap Water?
When i put my contacts on this morning, i accidentally drop one of the lens into tap water remains in the sink. I picked it up and clean it right away with opti-free solution and then i put it back in my eyes. It felt fine but i was afraid that i could get infections so i took it out and stored it in the case with solution. Is it okay to wear it again?

Good thinking on cleaning it right away! You will be fine wearing them again.
I’m pretty clumsy so every time that happens to me, I clean it off twice.
Tap water contains microorganisms that can cause a bad eye infection. If you disinfect your lens with the recommended disinfecting regimen, most likely everything was killed (but not always). Best to just toss it and start off with a new lens.
If you cleaned with your solution you should be fine. But if you’re really worried about it, just switch your lense. And also if you stored it in Opti-free for a while i don’t see a problem with putting it back in.
If you cleanse it with the solution used to keep them moist and clean, then it should be fine to reuse. Same thing happened to my brother.
It would have been fine once you rinsed with opti free. If you hadn’t rinsed it but put it back in the case it would be fine by now.
