Are All Astigmatism Contact Lenses Firmer in the Middle Than the Outsides?

I started out with just regular acuve oasis lenses and they were completely soft. But then I got my perscription lenses for astigmatism and the center of the lenses are harder and they wont stick to my finger as well. Is this normal?

Yes, lenses for astigmatism ( toric lenses) are all like that. It is normal for that type. They are thicker and not quite as pliable.

It takes awhile to learn to manipulate them as well as regular lenses , but with practice , it will come.
