Are Colored Contact Lenses Dangerous?

I don’t wear glasses or anything. I’m just doing it for fun. You know, having your eyes look different and all. So, basically, I just want to know if it’s dangerous or not? Also, other people are saying that when you use contacts without needing to, it can make you blind??

NO they are not dangerous, U will just need to make sure you take them out every night, other wise you can get hurt your eyes, and the dr will tell you that u cant use them.
About them making you blind, yes only if you use someones contacts that are prescribed, but u should never use someone else contacts. You can just go to wal-mart optical and tell them u just want some to enhance the color of your eyes w out a prescription. And they will help you.
But no not dangerous at all.
As far as I know, if they are non prescription and purely for looks, they should be fine. Just use common sense and be hygienic (no sharing, using a contact solution to clean, washing hands).
I used them for a while and never caused me any problems. Not an expert though so…!
