Are Colored Contact Lenses with an 8.3 Base Curve Manufactured by a Company Other Than Ciba Vision?

Urgent …Help!! My colored Durasoft contact lenses have been on back order for a month and now I am told that Ciba Vision won’t manufacture them until the end of April (today is March 13th, 2008)
Does any company other than Ciba Vision manufacture colored contact lenses with an 8.3 base curve? If so, who sells them?? I was informed that Ciba Vision is the one & only company that makes them … hard to believe. Thanks for your help

Coopervision has colored lenses called Natural Touch.
They come in 8.4 which is the same as 8.3…base curves fit 1/10 either side
But the colors are very different than the Durasoft. They won’t have the same effect at all.
Those Durasoft lenses used to be from Wesley Jesson , but they were bought out by Ciba. Ever since then the service on them is terrible.
Maybe you should get some clear monthly disposables to wear until it finally comes in ?

Acuvue 2 Colours come in 8.3 and 8.7 BC’s, and 14.0 DIA. They are made by Johnson and Johnson. The colors won’t be the same as the Durasofts that you normally use; each brand’s colors differ somewhat from other brands.
All the others I found with an exact 8.3 are made by CibaVision, so I don’t know how much luck you would have getting them.
