Are Contact Lenses Prescribed the Same As Glasses?

I had an eye test and a contact lenses consultation last week for new contacts and glasses, but only my glasses prescription was filled out, the contacts was left blank. The glasses prescription says 7.50 in the left eye and right eye, are contact lenses the same?

A contact prescription must also have other measurements besides the power, like the brand you have been prescribed, the base curve and diameter of the lenses.
The contacts are probably the same or the prescription contacts might be slightly lower than your glasses because it’s actually colser to your eye. ask your doctor about it before you consider ordering anything. Most of the time they make you have to learn how to put on your contacts in front of them to make sure you’re doing it properly.
