Are There Any Long-term Risk by Skipping Using My Contact Lenses for a Few Days?

I don’t see any difference between having them on and not on.

My eye is red because of allergy right now, so I want to skip my contact lenses a few days for my eyes to "heal". Any risks of getting worse vision by doing it?

you can skip contacts for as long as you want. you’re supposed to have back-up glasses though

No, your eyes need the break with your eyes being irritated right now. Sometimes, on my days off, I like to skip wearing my lenses to let my eyes rest. It won’t make your vision any worse.

no .. my eyes actually got irritated and dry for wearing contacts for 2 years. my doctor suggested that i stop using contacts for a month and using eye drops at least 3 times a day. i used Alcon Systane eyed rops.. but no, i dont think yer vision will get worse. if you dont see the diff between having them on and off, then it might be best if you dont wear them. Wearing prescripted eye glasses or contacts actually makes yer vision worse if worn when not needed

No, it won’t make any difference to you at all. Worst you might end up with is a headache.

Seems a bit strange that you can’t see better with them though. What’s the point in having them?

No of course not i’ve done that many times. It would be more of a risk if you kept wearing your contacts when they make you feel uncomfortable.
