As Far As Contact Lens Solution Goes?
does it matter which brand you buy for your particular contacts? My regular brand, and the one I always get at the optometrist is Opti-Free, however I ran out so tonight I got some weird brand cuz it was all they had.
I’m wondering if this is okay for my contacts for now. It says Saline Solution on the box, but it’s not a disinfectant.

It doesn’t matter which brand you use, the important thing is that it kills bacteria. Saline solution is a water solution that is used to rinse contacts, but does not kill bacteria. The best thing to do is to make sure you always buy a multipurpose soltuion, and it doesn’t matter which brand you use. The brand names are usually the best because they contain a comfort agent.
Saline is just good for rinsing. It won’t clean or disinfect your lenses.
It’s ok to store them in that until you can get some real stuff tomorrow .
