Best Way to Tell if Your Vision Is Getting Worse?

hello everyone!
i am 18 and i think my vision is getting worse then it used to be. Is there simple test to see how bad it really might be?
Also I have a eye exam next week, what should i expect?

Well, one thing to expect is to have to try to read the letters off a chart, as seen in cartoons. They may put different lenses in front of your eyes and ask which ones seem better. It is getting worse if you are having more trouble seeing, close or far.
Simple your doctor will tell you and he will prescribe you thicker lenses.
