Can a Thirteen Year Old Wear Contact Lenses?

i’m only thirteen, and the power of my eye is vey high. i would love to wear contact lenses. but is it suitable for me?

my father is an optition and a contact specialist. he said that 13 years is a perfect age to wear contacts all you have to do is see your eye doctor for your perscription order the contacts and follow all cleaning and care instructions. once you wear contacts i assure you that you will love them much more than your glasses.

i was only 11 when i started using contacts. and they are great!
for me personally, i like contacts better. glasses kinda jsut get in the way.

There is no reason why you can’t wear contacts at your age, unless your Dr. says "no"…I’ve known several 11 year olds to get contacts. You just have to be sure to keep them clean & follow your Dr’s directions so not to lead to an eye infection. Good luck!
