Can an Optical Store Prescribe Contact Lenses?
I usually schedule a doctor appointment to get a new prescription and then I take my prescription down to an optical store to pick up new frames or contact lenses. Can I just head straight to an optical store next tI ame I need new prescriptions and then pick up an new pair of eye glasses or contact lenses right there? Is that possible? Or only hospitals can give prescriptions?
If that is possible, approxiamtely how long will that cost?

nope. you must go to an optometrist or an ophthalmologist. unless the doctor owns the optical and offers his or her services there that is the only way.
