Can Contact Lenses Be Worn at Night?

I am planning to switch from glasses to contact lenses for professional reasons, and I was wondering if I would have to take them out at night or not. I know my prescription will be for torics.

Do not sleep in toric lenses. I’ve had a couple times where I fell asleep before I could take my torics out and my eyes were painful the next day. You shouldn’t sleep with any contacts in at all. Oxygen can’t reach your eyes nearly as well.
