Can Contact Lenses Give You Red Eye in Pictures?

I have noticed that in alot of my pictures I have major red eye. Most of the people I am with in those pictures do not wear contact lenses and their eyes are fine. Am I getting red eye from my contacts? Is there any other reason that I get it?

Red eye is cause by the reflection of light from the retina. However, if your contacts are hard ones, they probably do reflect more light, increasing the effect.

red eyes is becauses light is being reflected back from the retina i doubt it will be the cause there are many factors eye shape….
