Can I Buy Eye Glasses Straight Off the Walmart Place Without an Eye Exam?

i really need glasses since my eye sight is going bad… how much should a normal one cost with insurances? do u need to have an eye exam or is that an optional thing?

other than reading glasses, you will need an appointment and an eye exam so they know which perscription to give you. if you already know your perscription, you will still need an appointment if its more than a year old because they dont want to chance that it changed and give you the wrong ones. i think the appointment is around 70-80 dollars, and the frames vary from 20ish and up…
You can buy reading glasses without a perscription but those are only for people with a probelm seeing things close to and when both your eyes are the same. You do need an eye exam really to find out what the problem is. Even if its just things near at hand you have probelms seeing it might be an astigmatism which over the counter glasses won’t help with. Also you should have your eye health checked if there is any hint of a problem.
go and book in for an eye exam and you can then look at the cost and where you might buy glasses from if those are recommended. There is lots of advice on answers about this. How much it would cost tends to depend on your perscription and other options you may choose.
