Can I Extend the Replacement Time of My Contact Lenses?

Hello! My new contact lenses are supposed to be replaced every 2 weeks (Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism). If I don’t wear them every day – I alternate with my glasses – will a pair last longer than 2 weeks?

i use the same kind and i wear them every day. i have let them last for 3 months before…just be careful and wash them every day. if you keep them clean, this can extend the wear on them. if they are starting to become uncomfortable during use, then you should change them. hope this helps..p.s. i think they tell you that you have to change them every two weeks only so they can make more money outta you

It is recommended that they are changed every two weeks but they generally last double that time. Keep them clean and wear them only when you need to. Take them out if you get the chance.
