i got my new glasses in july.
also they told me that
contact for 6 months would cost me 6
do you think its a good price

    No! Your contact lens prescription will be different to your glasses prescription, even if by 0.50 or something like that. This is because the lens is directly on your eye rather than an inch or so in front..so it would be worth to have a contact lens assesment first, and you will get a different prescription.

    A contact prescription is BASED on the eyeglass prescription, but not always the same.

    Very often changes have to be made to the powers if there is any astigmatism involved, or if the power is over + / – 4.50

    In the US you need a separate exam for a contact prescription , in Canada you don’t.

    So, it depends where you are.

    Its been several years for me when I said I wanted a prescription for contacts. They had to measure my eyes for contacts. I was given a different prescription for my eyeglasses and contacts. Since it has been several years, things probably are more advanced now, I would ask my doctor. The cost of $106 contact is a good price.
