no you can’t. your contact and glasses rx is different and doctors need to measure your eyes to make sure everything fits perfectly. and if you have astigmatism then that’s more reason for you to go or else you will not see as clearly through normal contacts.
no. eye glasses and contacts are prescribed two different ways. you need to get a seperate test for contacts
I think it’s a yes (70%) because before i got the contact lens, they helped me to check my degrees and they gave the contact lens to me straight away.
It depends. Usually the power of the contacts is .25 lower in power (nearsight) because the contacts are much closer to your eyes. But in some cases (like for example me) the degree is the same. It feels more comfortable for me.
No, unfortunately you can’t. Glasses prescriptions are slightly different from contact lens prescriptions. You will have to ask your eye doc for your contact lens Rx. They will also prescribe you a particular brand of colored lenses to wear (Freshlook, Impressions, etc)
Once you do get your contacts prescription, I definitely recommend that you buy them online instead of from your eye doc, from somewhere like CoastalContacts.com. It is way less expensive than buying from your doc or a store.
