Can I Wear Colored Contacts if My Eyes Are Okay?

My eyes are perfectly fine and I want to get colored contacts, is that safe? If so, will I need to go to the eye doctor to get them to order some for me or can I order them online?

i think its fine if u order the correct brand. BUT GO TO YOUR EYE DOCTOR FIRST AND ORDER THEM CORRECTLY so that you can get them fitted and so that he can Look at your eye. if you just get any random brand at CVS with out fitting your eyes it can scratch your retina which can damage your eye forever!
Colored contacts are available without a prescription. You should be able to get them at Walmart.
Heh,.. contacts CANNOT scratch your retina. That is absurd. Your retina is located on back wall of your eye. Contacts can, however, make abrasions on your cornea and lead to infections. I would recommend against wearing contacts if you don’t need them simply because of the potential complications that can arise from regular wear.
Your eyesight is alot more important than some cosmetic color. Consider the risks before you take unnecessary risks,.. no matter how ‘small’.
You can wear them, is it safe — safe enough to warrant the use of contacts for vision correction but I personally don’t think it a smart choice to take the risks on healthy eyes.
You will need to go to your eye doctor for proper fit. All eyes are different,.. and contacts that fit one person won’t fit so well or at all on the next. You should get fitted/measured at a clinic.
