Can I Wear Contact Lenses During Surgery?
About to have surgery requiring general anesthesia and was wondering if I can wear contact lenses? My guess is not, but just wanted to know if anyone has heard directly from their doctor regarding this, or have other direct experience having undergone a surgical procedure.

No you will need to remove them prior to a surgery
No. During surgery they may check the dilation of your pupils and it could affect their measurements.
The only thing you can wear will be a thin gown that they will provide & a surgical hair net.
