Can I Wear Contact Lenses While Playing Hockey?

So I just started wearing contact lenses, and I was wondering if I could play full contact with them on? I mean it won’t hurt my eye? (I have a full cage mask on). Also, will they fall out?

they might dry out depending on your eyes. but it doesnt happen for me and if they dry out just buy a face shield instead of a cage. but u actually wanna wear the contact lensses when u skate cause it improves your game dramatically.

I don’t see why not – though if you can afford it, consider lasik.

Yes you can play with contacts and have no worries about anything going wrong. Not to say that they can’t be knocked out or that would be an impossibility but you can play with them in no problem.

yeah i’ve been playing with contacts for years. never had any issues. my contacts really dont fall out in general…and theyve never fallen out when im on the ice. i mean, if you think about the alternatives…contacts are definitely the way to go. glass- poor range of vision, not comfortable with a helmet on and playing full contact. then theres the option of going blind haha. or you could wear contacts and have no issues. i pick contacts.
