well I am wearing a toric contact lens i have astigmatism .75 only
and I am planning to buy a disposable regular soft contact lens

    You are used to having that 0.75 corrected. To suddenly go without it probably isn’t a good idea.

    It depends a lot on how high the Spherical component is of your Rx also…if it is at least double of the cylinder power, you may be able to get away with it by having a 0.25 added to the Spherical power.

    It’s impossible to guess at without seeing your whole Rx.

    I’d ask an eye doctor- there are some soft lenses made for astigmatism.

    My sister has astigmatism and she wears soft contact lenses. They are for astigmatism though. So you might want to check with your doctor for a prescription

    i happen to hav astigmatism and i wear toric lenses… in most regular ones the axis cannot be corrected and sometimes irritation occurs.. toric is most comfortable and will correct ur astigmatism…

    Toric lenses are the most comfortable type of lenses I have found but I still can’t wear them for extended periods of time due to dry eyes.
