Can I Wear Two Contact Lenses on Top of Eachother?

I was given a cosmetic pair with a colour pattern on them, but I also wear regular lenses. Is it possible to pop the cosmetic pair in on top of my normal ones, or will this cause interference or some sort of nasty sticky mess?
I understand there will be a thickness issue and perhaps some minor optical distortion. But could it be a real problem. Has anyone done this?

    it should be impossible
and you’ll probably hurt yourself trying so DON’T do it
you may not be able to get them out of your eyes because of increased thickness and you may be in severe discomfort
I suggest going to your opticians and buying a perscription pair in the colour or effect you want.

well.. when i got my color contacts, they came with a second pair of clear lenses called the "handling tint". they were larger in diameter than the pair with the color on it, and i put the color ones in first and the handling tint over them and i wasn’t really uncomfortable. i’m pretty sure i was supposed to do that.
but maybe it was for those specific lenses.

Nope, your vision would probably be terrible, it would be pretty uncomfortable and your eyes would get zero oxygen and would be very unhappy!
Unless you have a very high or unusual prescription (like over +/-7.00 ish or high astigmatism) you should be able to get your coloured lenses with your prescription incorporated, just check with your Optometrist.

You can do it it is called piggy backing, it is done for certain eye conditions and certain prescriptions. I wouldn’t do it however without the help of your optometrist as there are a lot of issues involved.

talk with a eye specialist or optical seller or just go to opticals specalist and make your lenses colurful or just fix each other .
