Can the Contact Lens Disinfecting Solution Be Used As Eyedrops?

Okay, i’m new to the whole contact lens thing. So i was wondering can i use the disinfecting solution to clean the contacts as eyedrops? I think my optometrist forget to tell me about that. Would it harm my eyes in any ways?

no! use eydrops for eydrops. they have ones for contacts
NO.. you can use the sterile saline wetting solution as eyedrops but not the disinfection solution
Do not use that as drops. Please call your optometrist back and ask for clarification on the use of the cleaning solution and a recommendation for eye drops. You need to be sure that whatever brand of eye drops you use aren’t going to damage the contacts.
