Can Toric Contact Lenses Be Replaced by Spherical Lenses?
Problem: Want to buy Sclera (Full Eye) contact lenses, BUT they do not come in Toric. Is it possible that you could use a prescription of one of the two powers and still somewhat see?
I know that Toric Lenses have 2 different powers and are ballasted.

It really depends on how much astigmatism you have.
The spherical power may have to be increased to compensate somewhat for the cylinder power, if it isn’t too great to begin with.
Without seeing your prescription it is hard to give you a good idea if it could work or not.
Doctors can not always tell without putting a lens on. Obviously a patient can not tell nor can an optician tell.
Your astigmatism may not be there at all with the lens in place.
