For the contact lenses I’m buying, you only need the power. The base curve and diameter are all the same.

If you want contacts, you need to have the optometrist measure your eyes and write the prescription specifically for contact lenses. You will need to know something called the base curvature, as well as a few other bits of information regarding the lenses themselves. You need to see the opthamologist or optometrist to find out what kind is best for you, not to mention the correct prescription. Then you buy what was prescribed. If the contacts you want are not produced in the way you need, you buy a different kind. It’s that simple dear. If you try buying them according to your glasses prescription and in the one size of BC, you will find they do not help you at all.
You can’t. Contact prescriptions also tell them what shape your eyes are. Your gonna have to see an eye doctor.
You can’t you need to go back to an optometrist and have a contact lens eye test.
