    OMG!! NO i made the mistake of doing that it was so painful!!! the alchohol in the sanitizer is what sanitizes it and it stays there on you hands and fingertips so when you touch the lenses then your eye its burns my eyes were red i was tearing and had to rinse them thoyoly and put massive amounts of eye drops!

    It can leave a residue of chemicals and moisturizer.

    Best to wash with soap and water and rinse well with water.

    No! Don’t do that. You’ll infect your eyes really bad do to the chemicals inside the hand sanitizer. It’s better to just wash your hands with soap and use the solution the doctors have suggested

    Dear just buy pills that improve eyesight. I took some pills called billberry ten years ago and I have never needed to wear glasses.

    Be safe, do it with soap and water.

    The sanitizer can have chemicals in it, not to mention all of the alcohol!

    ONLY use sanitizer if it is the ONLY option available and you have no other choice.
