Can You See Out of Colored Contact Lenses?

I have bad eyesight. And I want contacts. And at the flee market they have colored contacts for only 20 dollars. I want to know if I will be able to see out of them.
And if not. How much do prescription contact lenses cost? where can I get the cheapest ones?
I am on a low budget considering i am only 13.
I know yoyou can see out of it. don’t be so litteral. I mean..is it going to make my eyesight better?

Are you serious? A flea market?
If you could see before you put them in, you won’t be able to after you put them in, and after you take them out. What a dirty, questionable place to get contacts!
Go to a real doctor and get a prescription. If you need or have glasses, then you will want lenses that suit that prescription, not random flea market lenses. So no, you won’t be able to see out of those if you have bad eyesight already. They are probably not a prescription and if they are, then I doubt that they are anywhere near close to your prescription. Go to a real eye doctor please.
Well if you couldn’t see thou them why would alot of ppl buy them
Um, you see thru your pupil not your iris which is where the color is located.
The colored part of the lens goes over the iris, which is the ring of color around the pupil (the black bit). You see out of the black bit, which is transparent on the contact lens.
Thus it only changes the color of your eyes, not your vision. You probably could get ones that have color over the pupil (and tint your vision) if you try.
Well on average they are $20-$40 i believe. and I would definatly not buy contacts from a flea market. They are most likely very old and dirty! If you want contacts then get an eye exam, $70-$100, and just buy new clean ones! Much safer. Good luck.
i would not put any thing that a eye dr. didn’t give you , your eyes are really important and i don’t know how you could see if there not from a dr.
go to walmart dude . its about 25 a box. I find that acuve colors are the best.
