Can You Tell Me About Colored Contact Lenses?

I have always thought it would be fun to have brown eyes, and I know that there are colored lenses (like contact lenses) that yoyou can put in in your eye to make your iris look a different color. Could you tell me a website that sells them or where to get them, as well as your own experience with them? Any info appreciated. Thanks!
Also, do they last, or do you have to replace them? Thanks.
by the way, I have greyish-blue eyes

First of all, you have to get a perscription. Even if you have 20/20 vision you cannot get contacts without going to an eye doctor. They usually have trial pairs in office so you can see what looks best on you. I use freshlook colored contacts. They have worked really well for me. The website shows you all the color and what they look like. They also have different contacts for light or dark eyes. http://www.freshlookcontacts.com

well if your wal-mart has an eye-place you can go there and try on samples or any othere eye place around town, i have had colored contacts for a year and if you want to change your eye color totally use acuve colors, they TOTALLY change your eye color but you do not see bown or blue. If you want to enhance your eyes with a soft brown that is not a noticable as acuve but very beautiful, get freshlook colors. be careful when your buy other brands, if you do not try them on first they could be totally colored. One time i did not try on a pair of light green ones and i bought 3 months worth of them and everything that is really white, was tinted green. Also Acuve colors & freshlook colors both cost about 34.95$ for three months worth of contacts.

I know that you would need a prescription from an eye doctor. You can’t order contacts online without one. I use focus color blends. If you want brown eyes, a good color would be hazel. Once you get a prescription, you could go to any contact lenses website and order them. A good site is http://www.1800contacts.com. My own experience with them is good. I love wearing contacts. The focus color blends are so natural that they look like your real eye color They take practice to put in, but you could get the hang of it in no time. Good Luck.
