Can You Wear 2 Contact Lenses on One Eye?
halloween is coming up and I want those crazy cool contact lenses that are non prescription lenses. I currently wear prescription contact lenses for my vision but I was wondering if it is safe to layer the unprescripted ones for the crazy color for my costume over my prescripted ones?

I wouldn’t recommend it!!!
try it out for a few hours, if its uncomfortable take them out, but put your prescription ones on b4 the color
No, only one contact will move to the front of the cornea. The other one will just float around. It’s not possible to wear two contacts in the same eye.
No this is certainly not recommended. The lenses together will be too thick and so will not sit correctly in your eyes. The movement that it will cause may result in the lenses scratching your cornea. This can be dangerous. Also will be uncomfortable for you
And the dumbest question of the day award goes to you.
Congratulations
No, it is not advisable to wear 2 contacts in one eye, however, WildEyes from CibaVision and Crazy Eyes from CooperVision both offer the bizarre contact lenses (cat eyes, 8 ball, white eys, zebra……) that actually have prescription in them, so no need to wear 2 lenses….pleas see your eye doctor first as they are prescription lenses and require a prescription to purchase!
no you can’t if you want different color you have to prescribe different color
I cannot stress this enough they should not be allowed to sell the colored contacts even if they are not prescription strength without a RX FROM A DOCTOR! You can damage your eyes, and you should already have a prescription with your doctor so call your doctor tell the doctor you want some for halloween and you could either order them and they can verify with your doctor (as long as you have a rx that you can wear colored contacts with certain tricky prescriptions they don’t make colored contacts for) or you can tell the doctor what brand and style you want to order and when you want them and see what they say.
I have done this before with 2 special effects lenses in one eye. I haven’t had any problems in the last 3 years of doing so. They have never dried out, stayed in place perfectly with no problems. Good luck!!
