Can You Wear Contact Lenses Over Contact Lenses?

Hey! I want to get some colored contacts. The problem is, I already have clear contacts because I need them to see and it’s difficult and really expensive for me to get colored contact lenses that have powers (so I can see out of them). But I really don’t want to wear glasses because I want to wear the contacts for a dance show coming up and yoyou can’t dance in glasses, and besides, I hate my glasses. So is it possible to wear colored contacts over normal clear contacts?

thanks

yes, My neighbor is an engineer, and he has just about the worst vision ever. when he puts on glasses they look like he built them out of huge magnifying glasses. they feel like they weigh 8 pounds.
his optometrist (when he tries to figure out his RX) prescribes two or three different contact lenses to wear at the same time. one on top of the other. My neighbor says its uncomfortable, but he can wear more than one set of contacts at a time.
obviously your best bet is to simply order your contacts in the color that you like, or perhaps order a set of clear ones, and a set or two with different tints

No I don’t believe it is possible. As you would know, the lens sticks to the eye. If you had another lens, what would it stick too? I’m pretty sure you could only change the colour of your eyes with prescribed coloured contacts.

no freakshow!! If you want the crazy lenses with power … ask your optomoterist to order your regular script lenses in the crazy lenses of your choice….. OR wear the optional colored lenses and ur glasses — OR wear optional lenses and no glasses and be blind for your upcoming event. — wearing both pairs of contacts will not work.
