Can You Wear Contact Lenses While Swimming at the Beach?
I’m a new contact lenses user and I’m wondering if I can go to the beach wearing my contacts and possibly go nude swimming with them on, too?

You can wear your contact lenses to the beach, although I would recommend you take some sunglasses as eyes tend to be more sensitive to the light when you wear contacts. And take care not to get sand in your eyes.
If you choose to do swimming with them in then goggles are a must because if you get the water in your eyes the lenses can fall out or become cloudy and sticky. There is also a risk of infection, but as long as you have good goggles and dont put your eyes underwater you should be ok!
Have fun!
You’ll lose them if you open your eyes in the water by accident- I never wear mine in water.
I do. Just don’t open your eyes underwater, unless you’re wearing goggles of some type.
i used to save my older ones to wear to the pool when i was swimming laps, just incase I lost one in the water. Yes, and i used goggles. The only other problem at the beach maybe if you get sand in your eye from the wind….
I wouldn’t recommend it.
very very risky
even if you wear goggles
a wave could crash down on you
and they could get….crooked?
