Colored Contact Lens?
Is there a specific reason as to why I can’t match up my current prescription for my clear lenses to colored ones I want to buy? I have noticed they are all different. I currently wear Night & Day monthly . Is there way to convert the prescription so I know what I need to order?

I had brown eyes but now had newcoloriris surgery and have green eyes. I still wear my clear contacts for vision reasons.
You actually need a prescription specifically for the colored lenses. Just as you can’t go to the pharmacy with a prescription for penicillin and get a different antibiotic, you can’t use a prescription for clear lenses to buy colored lenses. Your optometrist may update your prescription to colors at no additional charge, or he may charge for a minimal refit. Either way, you will need to contact him before you can order colors. Also, ask if they have samples so that you can try on your colors before you order!
No, not really. That is why you need a prescription to get them. Your Doctor would have all the information and all the expertise to be able to fit you with a colored lense. They come in different sizes and powers and your doctor would be able to fit you for the ones that owuld work for you best. Just call who prescribed your Night and Day lenses, and tell them you want colors. They have the info to tell you the prices and what might be available for your specific prescription!
