Colored Contact Lenses?

i wanted colored contact lenses but my optician said i couldnt get because i have astigmatism & colored lenses do not correct astig. is that so or he was wrong? so i was thinking of maybe putting my normal lense on then put another powerless colored lense onto it? isit possible? tx!

Wouldn’t you trust your optometrist? If they do not make colored lenses for astigmatism then no you wont be able to see. And you defnintely can not wear two pair of contact lenses.
the 2nd lens probably wouldn’t stay on
and it would eventually find it’s way to the back of your eye while you were wearing it
it’d attack your optical nerve until you’d go blind
i highly do not advise that you do that
i have an astigmatism and i wear colored contacts. there is no difference.

Acuvue has contacts for astigmatism…. I’m sure you can get them colored.
