Colored Contacts?

I’m thinking about getting contacts for the first tI ame. should i get colored? Also, I have a really low prescription, so would i be able to get contacts anyways? its something like -.5 i have no clue what that means. anyways, should i get contacts, or should i get colored contacts, or should i get neither? I am 13

Get colored. They are fun. Don’t get the ones with the spots. They look cool but for me collected a lot of junk in my eyes.
I tried some out of curiosity and they didn’t work so well. Granted, this was over 5 years ago, so the technology may have changed. I tried green over my brown eyes, and it just looked….brown.
-.5 means you’re slightly nearsighted (have a tough time with distance) by the way.
there isn’t a point for coloured contacts.. they are invented so people don’t notice you need glasses… color just defeats the purpose.
get clear colored cantacts look really bad

Well, truthfully I would talk to your parents first, and see if they care if you get colored, and then talk to the doc. If you can get them, congrats! Because I can’t! Go for like a gray at first or something. That would probobly look great.
