Contact Lens City

Last year, I too made an appointment to get contact lenses. However,I canceled it because I started hearing horrible things that could happen like you stated. A few months ago, I had it with my glasses and really wanted to get colored contacts. So, I went in for my hour long appointment and I am SO glad that I did! I LOVE my contacts now! during the appointment, they will measure your eye for the fitting of the contacts and also show you how to wear them. They will give you a trial pair of contacts so you can see how they fit/feel and if they are comfortable. Then, when you decide on the brand you want, you will order them and it usually takes about a week or two. Get your first presciption from the doctors office, then ask for your prescription and order them online for so much cheaper. You may have to try different brands to see which is the best for you. My eyes are dark brown and if you’re thinking about colored contacts..do NOT get the freshlook brand, they look sooo fake. Try the Durasoft colors line which is so natural looking, I got the green contacts and no one knows they’re not my own eye color, except people that know me of course. So, dont worry and definitely get contacts! oh, and the optifree replenish line is the best solution (doesn’t burn the eyes) ask for that as a sample for free at the visit..good luck! email me if you have any other questions.
