Contact Lens Irritation in Left Eye?

I got contacts about 3 weeks ago and usually when i put them in, my left eye gets very irritated. I use Opti Free Replenish solution and my contacts are Avaira. Do i still need to get used to them? When i put in my right contact it feels very comfortable.

Does the contact have any cracks in them? If it does, you should change out the contact, and switch to a new one. If you see one little line, that’s okay because I have that too.

Make sure you clean the contact very well too … like right before you go to sleep, you should always place the contact in your hand, put a little solution on it, and then rub it around for a minute or so. Then put it in your case with the solution in it.

I use the same solution as well .. and there were a few times when the contact didn’t feel so comfortable in my eye, so I just took it out, rested my eye, and put more solution on it, rubbed it around, and put it back in. And then it’s okay. But now it doesn’t really happen anymore. You might want to put it in slow too because I remember I put my contact in too fast, and it got irritated immediately. Did you try doing that? But if it still irritates you, you should go back to the Optician and tell them about it.

Go back to the optometrist. After three weeks your eyes should be totally adjusted.

Try a different of solution. Opti Free did the same to me
