Contact Lens Prescriptions.
I’ve just been looking on line and found much cheaper contact lenses than I am paying now. I don’t have a prescription, but, I do have the sterile containers I got my last contact lenses in and wondered if anyone knew how to read your prescription from the numbers on the seal.

If you are in the USA you can ask your doctor for a copy of the prescription if it’s valid and you can purchase lenses anywhere you like. However, you cannot change the type or power of lenses. If your same lenses are sold cheaper elsewhere, get the rx from the doctor and buy them. If you are looking to change to a cheaper brand, you have to be refit into them and a new, valid rx supplied to you. Otherwise, it’s illegal to change them.
