well i know w/mine if they are and I push on them they "pop" back the way they should be…make sense?? sorry
when you put your contacts on, it should be a perfect half circle shape. i dont know how to explain it if its the wrong shape, but flip them around and you’ll figure which one is more of a perfect half-circle shape. usually if you have it the wrong way, it will feel weird or it may pop out
Hold them on the tip of your finger. If they’re the right way the edges(if you know what I mean) will form a circle. If they’re inside out they will be distorted in shape.Hard to explain when you think about it. But it doesn’t really matter, they work either way, it’s just easier to wear them if they’re the right way round, in case they fall out. But don’t worry when I first started wearing them I used to think if I got it wrong I’d see backwards or something. My optician soon put that right, to a hale of laughter from the lot of them. Embarrassing? You bet.
I used to buy the brand CibaSoft. They used to have etching on the contact to tell if it was right side out. But, I also have had lenses. You can tell the lenses are right-side-in when it is very curved, compared to being inside-out. Take the contact, and examine them both ways. Turn it one way, and see the curvature; then, turn the other way, and see if you notice a difference. If this is too hard for you, I’d look into getting the brand mentioned above. They’re good contacts.
