Contact Lenses?

Okay, so me and a couple of my friends were planning to go to Knott’s Soak City ^^. I was just wondering if it would be a bad idea to wear contact lenses. I’m just going on slides and other rides, not really swimming in the water.

It should be OK to wear your lenses in the water. If you plan on going underneath the water in a pool you may want to wear goggles, but it should be fine. There is a possibility that you could loose your contacts, but you should be fine- I’ve never had that happen.

I have contacts lenses too, and they’re fine to wear around water. Just dont like open your eyes and start looking around underwater….. but the splashes from the rides wont do a thing.

Of course not! That is part of the good things about having contacts. Just bring some eye drops in case you have dryness from the chlorine they might use in the water.

i wouldnt keep the lenses on, i wear contact lenses and the become blurry or can fall out with splashes and diving into the pool. also depending what contacts you use

Its ok, cause i am a swimmer and have been wearing contacts in the water for about a year now. I usually have goggles on, but when i swim for fun i don’t have goggles and they stay of perfectly fine. I even opened my eyes underwater and nothing came off. I suggest you dont do that just in case, but since your not accually swimming you fine!
