Contacts Only for One Eye?
My left eye has poor vision. My right eye has near 20/20 vision. If I wear contacts, do I need to wear contacts for both eyes?
My right eye isn’t bad enough to require vision correction. But if I have a contact lens in my left eye, and not my right eye, will that cause a problem with depth perception, etc.?
It would be nice to cut costs by only needing to buy contacts for one eye, but is this bad for my eyes?

No you do not need to wear contact lenses in both eyes if only one eye requires correction. My right eye is close to normal and I do not correct it. My left eye’s visual acuity is at 20/50. I usually wear a contact lens in my left eye. In my case wearing only one contact makes my depth perception better because I am not switching between my eyes when looking in the distance.
