Wal-Mart Vision centers offer exams from Independent Doctors of Optometry. The exam prices are generally determined by each Doctor so the prices will vary. I’ve seen basic eye exams range anywhere from $37.00-$59.00 depending on the location and the Doctor. Contact lens exams range from $65-$89.00 again depending on location and Doctor. Once the exam is performed, the Rx is yours to take wherever you would like. You may need a follow-up contact lens check after being given a trial lens to wear for a week or so. This should be included in your initial fee you paid the day of the exam. I ran a couple offices for them before making the switch to the private sector. Hope this helps.

Eye exams at independent eye doctor should cost between 50-100 dollars. Now once you have your prescription, go to the Zenni Optical where you can get glasses from $9 to a good pair at $35 they even have amazing deals on bifocals
