Do I Need to Leave Out My Contact Lenses for a Certain Amout of Time Before an Eye Exam?

I’m getting an eye exam this afternoon do I have to take the contacts out to let my eyes rest or something before the EE? Can I just take em off right before the EE?

You don’t have to take your lens out, until the eye dr is ready to exam your eyes.

You should wear your contacts to the eye exam because the doctor will want to see how they are fitting on your eyes. You will have to take them out for other parts of the exam, though.

Call the eye doctor’s office and ask whether they want you to wear them in or not.
