Do I Really Need Special Gas Permeable Contact Lenses Solution or Will Saline Solution Work Just As Good?
I just started wearing gas permeable contact lenses. I have worn them in the past and I always used regular bausch ‘n’ lomb saline solution that I had used with my soft contact lenses in the past. The cost of gas permeable solutions vs. soft contact lens solution is just ludicrious so I decided not to switch. I trust doctors as about as far as I can throw them. I think they all just want to take our money and then watch us shrivel up and die. So Im curious as to whether or not this gas permeable saline solution is really necessary or just a new product to milk our pocketbooks for all were worth. Should I buy gas permeable lens solution or no?

Hey, I wear them and I use Clear Care. Its in a white bottle with a purple and blue sticker. Its for these hard contacts. You can get it at right aid, but its REALLY hard to find.
And, when you choose best answer, it doesn’t have to be this one =) can you tell me how long the transiton period it? I have worn them for a year and then, over this summer I noticed everyday dust or pollen or some thing would get in my eye which would make it BURN and ITCH so bad so I stopped wearing them. Now I’m back to school and cant see the board so I put them in and I couldnt look up i had to look down. How long does it take to adjust? I don’t remember! Thanks!!!!!!!!!
