Has anyone notice that there is a certain "type" of person who wears contact lenses? It’s hard to describe, but they seem to often have certain personality characteristics: sort of particular, maybe a bit nerdy, "Felix-Like"…
Agreed? And is there a better word to describe this type? And why are they attracted to wearing contacts?

Just a little piece of advice:
-People who live in the real world wear contacts for sight/vision problems. They probably can’t wear glasses because of sports they could get damaged in, glare from the lenses in recitals for something, (Dance, singing, etc) or simply because they are healthier for them. Some people have problems with headaches and stuff with the glasses, and contacts were the only practical option to go with.
-Also, how very stereotypical of you. I wear glasses, and while I happen to be good in school, it doesn’t mean I’m nerdy. It’s means I happen to be smart, and I have common sense, unlike many people these days…
-Also, my cousin happens to be the biggest prep around. Nothing wrong with that, but she is in no way particular, nerdy, or "Felix-Like". She wears contacts. She is very popular. She plays lacrosse. Also, thanks for making me remember my dead cat. (Felix) I appreciate it. And since when has "Felix-Like" been a term??
Just my opinion. Feel free to thumbs-down me, while it isn’t exactly what I would like, I don’t give a flippin’ fladoodle. But hey, you asked my opinion, and I gave it. About at least 90% of people who wear contacts didn’t really choose to. I’ve never met someone who chose to.
I doubt youv’e met nearly enough contact lense wearers to objectively reduce them to an essential character. In addition, i’ve met very different people who all wear lenses.
No…people with contact lenses wear them because they feel better than glasses and are less of a pain. There are lots of types of people who wear contact lenses.
Yeah, the type who don’t want to deal with glasses and don’t want to look dorky. Of course there is no type of person who likes contacts, all kinds of people have them. Most people who have them you will probably never know they do, it’s probably just that nerdy type who you are friends with, so they tell you that they wear contacts.

In my opinion, no. They are just trying an alternative to eyeglasses because contacts may be more comfortable in their personal preference.
