Do People Who Wear Contact Lenses Get Dry Eyes?
I have been wearing contact lenses for 10years now, but over the last couple of days i have noticed that my eyes have been feeling dry.
I have not been getting red eyes or itchy eyes, just dry eyes.
is this normal?
And is this something that eye drops can sort out? if so, which kind of eye drops?

My eyes dry out depending on the brand. Oasys is pretty good. I also use Visine for Contacts.
I think it’s normal, though you gotta make sure you’re cleaning them properly.
you’re eye are probably getting too dry from always wearing contacts. i would wear glasses for a week or so and take a break from your contacts. They may be irritating your eyes. Or you may be getting an infection from wearing the same lens too long, so you might want to change your pair!!
Yes, and the eyedrops that are really good are systane. It’s kind of expensive but it does the trick asap.
use som eye drops. get clear eyes for contacts jackasssss
As we get older our eyes dry out. Have your eye doctor look at your eyes to be sure there is nothing wrong. There is a prescription eye drop (that I am allergic to) that is supposed to work pretty well.
Yes, but only during the winter months when the heat is on. You can actually use the Renu drops that you clean your lenses with to moisten your eyes. That’s what I was told to do by my eye doctor.
I have disposable soft contacts and I take them out every night, but I get this sometimes, too. I semi-recently switched to Opti-free "Replenish" (after changing to a brand new set) and I have noticed a huge difference. Good luck to ya.
If you’re worried, it might be a good idea to consult your eye doctor.
Yes it is very normal. I’ve only been wearing contacts for about a year now. If you watch tv, on the computer, or look at any type of screen that you have to concentrate on alot, it really dries out your contacts fast. Or it might be that you wear the same pair for a longer period of time then your supposed to. Eye drops do seem to help me alot, i dont know what kind would work best for you though.
