Do You Have to Wear Your Contact Lenses to Your Follow-up Appointment?
I got my trial pair of contacts 2 weeks ago and I liked them very much. A few days ago, some dust flew in my eye and I rubbed it. My left contact lens flew out of my eye and onto the ground. Unfortunately my follow-up appoitment is in 2 days. Can i still get my order of contacts that day? Do I have to wear contacts for my doctor to do the follow up appointment? Best answer gets 10 points :^D

If you’ve only got one, just put it in your case and take them. Let them know that you loved them and had no problems at all wearing them, but you lost one. They really only want to know that you’re happy and comfortable wearing them. They’ll probably just give you another pair to put in, and check your eyes with that pair in. If you ordered boxes, they give those to you also.
I don’t exactly understand your question, but I know for a fact that your opticians will have contact lenses in stock. For follow-up appointments, normally you do have to wear your lenses, however if you wanted, you could take them along in your over-night container, and youe eye-doctor should have a sink, or some other facilities to allow you to put your contacts in your eyes.
I have contacts, and I did have to wear them. You could always ask them for your next order today. And just in case bring your glasses. You might need to use those instead of contacts. I have done that before. Hope it works out!
No, you do not need to wear them to the optometrist’s. They always have packs of sample lenses that they can give you that day anyway, even if your contact order isn’t in yet. If it is in, they won’t care whether or not you’re wearing any at that moment.
you dont have to. i meen if you already ordered it theres no point. just were your glasses and go pick out your new sett of contacts
Yeah you should, you will probably just have to show him you know how to take them out and put them in. But if you dropped it on the ground do not put it back in.
