Do You Think Getting Colored Contact Lenses Is Superficial?

i have brown eyes but i absolutely LOVE green eyes. i was thinking about getting green contacts but i don’t want to seem shallow and fake. i’m okay with my brown eyes but i’ve always wanted to try the colored contacts.

And my friend says they are hard to see out of too
Colored contacts are cool, but you can totally tell when someone has them in. This girl at my school has blue lenses and they look soo fake.
Yes, of course it’s superficial and vain. All cosmetics are, but so what? As long as you aren’t generally superficial and you aren’t so vain that you treat others poorly then it doesn’t matter. We all do things to change our looks and that doesn’t make you a bad person. The only thing is that it probably will look fake, but so does red lipstick and I wear that every day. If you don’t mind that then go for it.
I have two different views on that. For me, my eyes are the only natural pretty part of my face. Everyone wants to wear makeup and dye their hair, but your eyes are beautiful and natural. If you feel like you want to try green eyes, you should go for it. I think it’s a little superficial if you wear them all the time, but if you only wear them sometimes, its just like wearing a different accessory once in a while. So I think you should go ahead and get them.
Well I wear contacts for vision and they are sooo comfy yet when I wore coloured ones for the first time they were so uncomfy but I dont know if it was because of the make but sometimes the coloured bit printed on the contact took over my whole eye and I could only see blue. But tbh I like colored cobntact lens but sometimes they cant be good for your eyes.
