Does Anyone Know if It's Okay to Switch Contact Lens Solution?

I’ve been using Renew multi-plus no rub solution for years, but when I go for my yearly exam and order new contacts, they give me Opti-free no rub solution. If I switch right over to that bottle after my Renu is gone, will it irritate my eyes or ruin my contacts? Just wondering if anybody has done this.

I use different onse all the time, what ever is on sale and I have different ones in each bathroom up and down, depending on where I take them off to clean them! never had a problem… most of them have the same ingredients anyway.

No you will be fine. You can use any brand you want any time you want. The stuff you get with your lenses is usually samples or stuff that drug companies recommend etc. You can use store brand if you really want to save money.

SHould start with new lenses and just pitch the unused stuff. But, It shouldnt matter. If you are going to be irritated by it, it will happen with new lenses or old. Bottom Line-It will be fine.
