    There is no weather that is unsafe for contacts. Just don’t hold your eyes open for too long in -40 F winds. :)
    I’ve lived in Iowa during winter and now live in California, so I’ve seen both extremes from -40F to 115F, windy, dusty, humid, dry, rainy. Dust is the least comfortable, but if you wear sunglasses in really dusty weather it helps. If you have hard (gas permeable) lenses you want to be extra careful with dust, because it HURTS. But if you take it out and rinse you’ll be fine.
