Does Staring at a Computer Screen for Too Long Damage Your Vision?
I work 40 hours a week… And am staring at a computer screen most of those hours. I occasionally get headaches and wonder if it’s because of my screen staring. I realize you’re supposed to take breaks and look away. Should I get an eye exam? Is this something glasses could help? (My right eye will occasionally go lazy when I try to focus on things – though not all the time.)

Go get a real job and stop being such a slacker!
most companies that have people who work at computer stations all day long are required to allow the employee time away from the computer several times during the day
yes, it is important to relieve your eyes of that continual strain
Go get an eye exam, if it’s a problem with your eyes then you can get glasses or contacts if it’s something like an infection you’ll be sent to your doctor or they can give you the eye drops at the optician, your boss is legally obliged to make sure you take breaks, if you’re in the UK we have the health and safety act that REQUIRES your employers to make sure you don’t cause damage to yourself by making you take breaks, if you don’t have an LCD monitor then get them, they minimize the chances of getting eye problems and allow you to be on them longer before damage occurs.
